One person was killed and six others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the northern Beqaa, east of Lebanon, on Monday. According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli warplanes waged a wave of airstrikes targeting areas along Lebanon's eastern and western mountain ranges. The airstrikes on Jaroud Bawadi left one person killed and six injured, NNA reported. Meanwhile, a series of violent Israeli air raids on the areas of Abbassieh in Tyre District, Batouliyeh and Ain Baal caused extensive damage to homes, cars and shops. The Israeli entity continues its dangerous military escalation in southern Lebanon in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, leaving scores killed and wounded, and forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes.
