Kuala Lumpur, The Malaysian Navy said that ten people were killed Tuesday after two helicopters collided in the air during a rehearsal for the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) parade. Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) said that the Hom (M503-3) and Fennec (M502) aircraft collided at the TLDM base in the city of Lumut, in the western state of Perak. The accident occurred during training to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Malaysian Navy, scheduled for early next month, Bernama said; noting that the M503-3 helicopter was carrying a crew of seven members, while the Fennec helicopter was carrying three crew members.
