11 people were injured, including four seriously, in an accident when a Senegalese airplane left the runway before taking off from Dakar to Mali's capital, Bamako. In a statement, the administration of the main Blaise Diagne Airport in Senegal said, that 11 people were injured as a result of the accident, out of 78 passengers, noting that it was decided to close the airport until the necessary measures are taken. It described the condition of four injured people as serious, noting that it had launched an emergency plan to evacuate and care for passengers until the airport reopens in the coming hours.
