Jordan's Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) revealed Monday the winners of its 42nd Arab Researchers Award 2024, reaching 12 awarded researchers from 6 different Arab countries. Dr. Basem Yamout from Lebanon and Dr. Raed Al Rughani from Kuwait won for their research on multiple sclerosis in the Medical and Health Sciences field, while Dr. George Al Araj from Jordan won for his research on antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Marit Awad from Lebanon won for her research on computational modeling in data analysis in the field of Engineering and Technology Sciences, while Dr. Anis Koubaa from Tunisia won for his research on advanced robotics and automation. In the Water, Energy and Food Sciences field, Dr. Amin Alimat from Jordan won for his research on food safety, while Dr. Ahmed Khair from Egypt won for his research on smart agriculture. Dr. Najib Abu Karaki from Jordan won for his research on natural disasters (earthquakes) in the field of Basic Sciences. In the field of Economics and Administration Science s, Dr. Hisham Al Ash from Tunisia won for his research on quantum physics and Dr. Elie Al Bouri from Palestine won for his research on digital and encrypted currency. In the Humanitarian, Social and Educational Sciences field, Dr. Bilal Hamamra from Palestine won for his research on discourse analysis (DA) and the war of terminology, while Dr. Walid Al Halfawi from Egypt won for his research focused on technology in education. 542 researchers from 27 Arab and non-Arab countries applied for AHSF's 42nd Arab Researchers Award 2024, according to its awarding committee.
