123 Martyrs and 270 Injured in Gaza Since Ceasefire Agreement Announced

Gaza: The Civil Defense in Gaza announced that the death toll since the ceasefire agreement was declared last Wednesday up until this morning has risen to 123 martyrs, including 33 children and 33 women, with 270 injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, the latest airstrike, carried out at dawn today, claimed the lives of five members of the same family when an Israeli bombardment targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals in the Mawasi Qarara area of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza. Despite the ceasefire announcement, Israeli forces continued their airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting Al-Nasr Street in northwest Gaza City, dropping bombs on a street in Jabalia Al-Nazla in the northern part of the Strip. Additionally, they opened fire on residents in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 46,876 martyrs and 110,642 injured, as reported by the Ministry of Health in Gaza as of yesterday, Friday. The escalation of violence comes amidst Qatar's announcement last Wednesday of the success of joint mediation efforts with Egypt and the United States in brokering a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel, which is set to take effect tomorrow, Sunday.
