14th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum Kicks Off in Athens

Athens: The 14th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum commenced on Thursday in Athens and will run for two days, featuring the participation of senior officials, business leaders, and investors from Arab countries and Greece.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum aims to explore ways to strengthen economic and investment cooperation and partnership, as well as the exchange of expertise between Arab states and Greece. It also seeks to advance joint projects that contribute to sustainable development for both sides, in strategic sectors including construction, renewable energy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, infrastructure development, and logistics services.

In his remarks during the forum, HE Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Economic Affairs Sector at the League of Arab States, Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al Malki highlighted the important role played by the Arab League in supporting Arab-Hellenic economic integration, outlining key investment opportunities available in this regard. He also pointed to the Arab League's efforts to develop the new Arab Investment Agreement, aimed at enhancing inter-Arab investment in line with the latest international standards.
