21st International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas Concludes in Doha

Doha: The 21st International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG 2026) concluded today, marking the end of four days filled with panel discussions and debates among government officials, policymakers, industry experts, and innovators from over 80 countries. This event, recognized globally as a prestigious LNG gathering, attracted significant participation from various stakeholders in the industry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the LNG2026 event also saw involvement from more than 300 companies that participated in an exhibition covering 35,000 square meters at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The conference explored market trends, technologies, and innovations that are pivotal for global energy security and the ongoing energy transition. It fostered collaboration, knowledge exchange, and significant deals aimed at advancing the LNG industry.

At the conclusion of the event, Lolwa Khalil Salat, QatarEnergy's Manager of Public Relations and Communication, emphasized that energy discussions extend beyond numbers and projects, focusing on building bridges of trust and cooperation for a shared future. Salat officially handed over the hosting responsibilities for the next International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas to Professor Andrew Garnett, the Chair of The Australian Gas Industry Trust, who will co-host LNG2029 in Brisbane, Australia.

The LNG Conference and Exhibition alternates between exporting and importing countries every three years. It is organized by the International Gas Union, the Gas Technology Institute, and the International Institute of Refrigeration.
