22 Injured in Russian Attacks on Ukraine’s Kherson Region

Doha: Ukrainian authorities announced that 22 people, including a child, were injured in Russian attacks targeting the Kherson region in southern Ukraine last night.

According to Qatar News Agency, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin stated on Telegram that Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling targeted several areas, including Kherson, resulting in 22 injuries.

The attacks also caused damage to two residential buildings, seven houses, a shop, and several vehicles, he added.

The strikes occur as Russia has intensified its attacks on several Ukrainian facilities, including ports, in recent days, amid the ongoing military conflict between the two sides and no signs of an imminent political settlement.
