22 Killed, 124 Injured in Israeli Attacks on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: The death toll from Israeli attacks on civilians returning to their villages in southern Lebanon has risen to 22, with 124 injured, including nine children.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the attacks, targeting civilians attempting to enter towns still under occupation, resulted in the deaths of 22 people, including six women, and left 124 injured, among them 12 women and one medic.

Notably, today marks the end of the 60-day deadline for Israeli forces to withdraw from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon, as outlined in the ceasefire agreement reached on November 27.
