Doha: The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) announced that the 28th Men's Club League Handball Championship will be postponed to the first half of 2026. According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar will be represented in the tournament by Senior Handball League 2024/2025 winners Al-Arabi and HH the Amir Cup 2024/2025 winners Al-Duhail. This decision comes following the most recent edition of the championship, which was held in Doha last year. In that event, the UAE's Sharjah claimed the title after a narrow victory over Saudi Arabia's Al-Khaleej with a score of 27-26. Qatar's Al-Sadd remains the most successful club in the history of the Men's Club League Handball Championship, having secured the title five times. Al-Duhail has won the championship three times, while Al-Rayyan and Al-Arabi have each claimed the title once.
