Deir al-Balah: Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured on Sunday after Israeli warplanes targeted the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) cited medical sources as saying that an Israeli airstrike hit a building in the heart of the city, resulting in the killing of three Palestinians and injuring several others.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has resulted in 50,933 Palestinian fatalities - most of them women and children - and 116,450 injuries, according to preliminary toll. The number is expected to rise, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lie in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and rescue teams.
