Three paramedics were killed and two others were injured as a result of ongoing Israeli raids on the towns and villages of southern Lebanon. In a statement released on Saturday, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said that these casualties were caused by Israel targeting a Lebanese Civil Defense team while it was working on extinguishing fires caused by recent Israeli raids on the town of Froun on Saturday. The statement added, "The Public Health Ministry condemns this blatant Israeli attack that targeted a team in an official apparatus affiliated with the Lebanese state, noting that it is the second of its kind against an ambulance team in less than twelve hours." It affirmed that the Israeli entity's insistence on accumulating such attacks prohibited by international law proves its barbarism and aggressive intentions, hindering the carrying out of humanitarian missions usually allowed in wars.
