Gaza: Thirty-one Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured since Tuesday dawn as a result of a series of Israeli strikes and artillery shelling targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported that the majority of the martyrs fell during an attempt by civilians to obtain humanitarian aid near what is known as the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza. Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City received about 12 martyrs and more than 124 injured, most of whom were awaiting aid.
In the northern Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were martyred and others injured in shelling that targeted the Jabalia al-Balad area, while three others were killed in Israeli shelling of the Ma Spound San area east of Khan Yunis city.
Local sources also said that 13 other Palestinians, including women and children, were martyred in separate airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on several neighborhoods in Khan Yunis city.
The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting so far in the martyrdom of 54,927 Palestinians and injuries to 126,615 others. Many bodies remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, with rescue and ambulance teams unable to reach them due to the continuous bombardment.
