Amman, A 45-truck humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the Gaza Strip on the eve of Eid Al-Adha, which was sent by the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), with donations from organisations, companies and institutions. According to Jordan News Agency (Petra), the convoy carried food parcels and flour to be distributed through partner associations and organizations in the Strip, JHCO said in a statement. Hussein Shibli, the JHCO Secretary-General, said that his organisation will continue to carry out its humanitarian role and dispatch aid from countries, organisations, institutions, and humanitarian agencies to Gazans. Shibli said a total of 1,970 trucks have entered Gaza so far, in addition to 53 aid aircraft via Al-Arish Airport. Source: Bahrain News Agency
