5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Turkish Coast in Aegean Sea

Ankara: An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Canakkale province in western Turkey.

According to Qatar News Agency, the earthquake occurred late Tuesday, 6.62 km off the province's Ayvalik municipality, at a depth of 8.65 km.

No damage was reported, and no official tsunami warnings were issued.
