Ushuaia: An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale struck southeast of Ushuaia, southern Argentina, on Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey reported in a statement that the earthquake occurred 296 km from Ushuaia at a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
