5 Seriously Wounded in Germany Traffic Accident

Grob plasten: Five people were seriously injured in a traffic accident in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in northern Germany, after two cars collided on a regional road near the town of Grob Plasten. Local police reported that all passengers in one of the two vehicles were injured, while the 35-year-old driver is in hospital in critical condition.

According to Qatar News Agency, the police said the driver failed to notice another vehicle while crossing the road, resulting in the collision and the vehicle veered into a nearby field. The driver of the other vehicle, a 69-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.

The regional road was closed for five hours to complete the rescue work and remove the effects of the accident.
