Gaza - Together - The UN Security Council is scheduled to hold a closed meeting this week regarding mass graves in the Gaza Strip, at the request of the Republic of Algeria. The person who will brief members on the topic of the meeting, which may be held on Tuesday, May 7th, has not yet been announced. Earlier, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, called for an independent international investigation into the mass graves inside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City and the Nasser Complex in Khan Yunis. Since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, medical teams have discovered two cemeteries in the Shifa Complex, where they found 500 bodies, while 3 graves were discovered in the Nasser Complex, in which 395 bodies of citizens who were executed after being bound were found.
