The Israeli Magistrate's Court issued a decision on Friday to evict settlers from the Khalidi property in the Old City of Jerusalem, after they seized and stormed it yesterday. Attorney Sanaa Dweik explained that the Magistrate Court judge issued a decision to immediately evict the settlers from the Khalidi family's property, and set next Sunday as the date for a hearing on the property, noting that they are awaiting the implementation of the decision by the police. Attorney Duwaik said that the decision was handed over to the police to implement the eviction order, but it has not been implemented yet. Attorney Duwaik explained that yesterday the settlers stormed the property and changed its locks, and they do not have any documents or right to seize the property. Duwaik confirmed that the property is a family endowment for the Al-Khalidi family, and cannot be sold under any circumstances. All the papers submitted to the court and presented by the family are strong and confirm ownership of the property.
