In a statement, Wensland called for 'a comprehensive and transparent investigation into this incident, holding those responsible accountable for any violations, and taking immediate steps to better protect civilians.' He said: "I am deeply concerned about the killing of many women and children in an area where people have taken refuge," reiterating the call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
