Activities of the weekly sports program are due to continue Tuesday by holding many sports and youth events under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth at Al Ahnaf Bin Qais School.
Organized by Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA), in collaboration with Doha Youth Center, the events come within the summer activity plan with over 650 events and activities under the theme of: invest your time, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), alongside a number of sports clubs and youth centers.
The program starts from 4:30 pm until 8 pm and witnesses a high turnout amid an atmosphere full of spectacular joy and activity, where guardians are keen to gain maximum benefits from summer activities the program is offering to their sons and daughters with the objective of educating and refining their talents, in addition to developing their skills.
Sports activities that are organized in several schools by QSFA are ongoing and featuring a variety of sports and recreational activities, as well as other events in the sports clubs and youth centers, such as Al-Arabi SC, Al Khor Sports Club and Al Thakhira Youth Center.
QSFA Director of Events and Activities Abdullah Al Dosari said QSFA intends to have a summer vocation replete with activities and spiritedness, pointing out that the summer sports program has been witnessing a remarkable success since its inception which demonstrated in the number of participants from all age groups. He underscored the QSFA keenness to diversify the sports and recreational activities it offers which attract a substantial number of participants to practice sports activities.
Al Dosari emphasized that QSFA aims to invest in leisure times of young people, including male and female students during summer to help them capitalize on these activities, in addition to encouraging them to proceed with physical activities, as such activities absorb largest number of children, young people and elders to propagate sports culture in the community.
