Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), received Pascale Van Damme, President of the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA), during her official visit to Bahrain. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA), attended the meeting. The AFC President praised Belgian football's distinguished international status. He reviewed future plans for the development of Asian football, emphasising the importance of exchanging expertise and learning from global experiences to advance the game. Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim was briefed on the future plans of the RBFA, noting its innovative advancement in Belgium.
