Taif, The Taif Rose Festival (Qitaf 19) drew to a close yesterday after over two weeks of exciting activities that attracted one million visitors. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the festival hosted in Al-Rudaf Park under the patronage of Governor of Taif Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud, saw a significant turnout and active participation from various organizations. It drew both local residents and visitors from other regions. Over 80 exhibitors were present and more than 77 activities were held at the festival that was enjoyed beyond the park grounds, spreading to factories, rose farms, and markets. The highlight was the Taif Rose Parade, which captivated those viewing it. This year, the festival introduced exciting new activities for different groups of people. Among them, the Rose Parade and Rose Street stood out, featuring exhibitors, performances, rose-themed arts, folk group shows, falconry displays, Saudi bird shows, and several other attractions.
