Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, the Kingdom will host the second Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS).
The event is scheduled to take place at the Exhibition World Bahrain on December 5-6.
Building on the tremendous success of the inaugural conference, the second edition aims to surpass all expectations and provide an unrivalled platform for cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and insights on the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
By empowering global cooperation as the main objective, the event aims to enhance collective resilience against cyber threats and create a safer digital environment for individuals, businesses, and governments worldwide.
The steering committee held a meeting, attended by Colonel Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary of the National Cyber Security Committee; Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cybersecurity Centre; Brigadier Bassam Mohammed Al Miraj, Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Director General, and Amal Almurbati, representing the organisers, Faalyat.
During the meeting, the committee discussed preparations for the conference, including the agenda, speaker selection, and strategic partnerships.
"The steering committee meeting marks an important milestone in the planning process of the Bahrain Cybersecurity Conference. We are delighted to witness the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by the committee members," Amal Almurbati said.
