Al Arabi SC Bids Farewell to Tunisian International Youssef Msakni

Al Arabi: Al Arabi SC announced Saturday that it has bid farewell to Tunisian international player Youssef Msakni, expressing gratitude to him following a career with the club that spanned four and a half seasons.

According to Qatar News Agency, Msakni first joined the club in January 2021 on loan from Al Duhail SC until the end of the season. His loan was subsequently renewed for two additional seasons before he signed a permanent two-year deal that concluded at the end of the 2024-2025 campaign.

During his tenure with Al Arabi, Msakni played a pivotal role in securing the club's triumph in the 51st edition of HH the Amir Cup in 2023, following a 3-0 victory over Al Sadd in the final held at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

The 34-year-old Msakni featured in 12 appearances for Al Arabi during the current season of the Qatar Stars League, netting seven goals and registering two assists, thus maintaining a strong presence in the club's attacking front.

On the international stage, Msakni has earned 75 caps with the Tunisian national team, scoring 22 goals across various competitions, most notably representing Tunisia at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, an enduring hallmark of his distinguished international career.

Al Arabi concluded the current Qatar Stars League season in ninth place with 23 points and was eliminated from HH the Amir Cup in the Round of 16 following a 3-1 defeat to Al Shamal.
