With this victory, Al Arabi increased their tally to two points from one game, while Qatar SC remained with two points as well. In another match from the same group, Al Ahli Club edged past Al Sadd with a close score of 80-78 in a highly competitive game that remained intense until the final moments.

Both teams exchanged leads, but Al Ahli managed to secure two crucial quarters, leaving Al Sadd without enough time to close the gap despite winning the fourth quarter 20-14. With this result, Al Ahli moves to four points from two wins, while Al Sadd sits at three points, having previously defeated Qatar SC.

This season's HH the Amir's Basketball Cup is played in a two-group format. Group A includes Al Arabi, Al Sadd, Al Ahli, Al Gharafa, and Qatar SC. Group B includes Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Wakrah, and Al Khor. Group stage matches follow a single round-robin format, with the top team from each group advancing directly to the semifinals. Teams finishing second and third in each group will face off in single-elimination playoff matches to complete the semifinal lineup.
