Al Duhail: Al Duhail SC announced Monday the signing of Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek from Turkish club Basaksehir to bolster its first football team.
According to Qatar News Agency, the club stated on its official website that the management reached an agreement with Piatek to join the team starting next season. Piatek has extensive experience in European leagues, having previously played for AC Milan, Genoa, and Fiorentina in Italy, and Hertha BSC in Germany, in addition to his appearances with several clubs in the Polish league. He has also represented his home country, Poland, in several international competitions.
Al Duhail finished last season in second place in the Qatar Stars League standings with 50 points, two points behind champions Al Sadd.
