Doha: Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge has launched its official portal to enlarge the scope of accessibility by the public and those interested from around the globe to its diverse cultural contents. The website is a digital platform that primarily aims to contribute to the efforts and initiatives the State of Qatar has witnessed, in addition to enabling individuals to access its knowledge-based, reliable sources.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Chairman of the Board of Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge, Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani, stated that the move is part of the foundation's vision to share knowledge and preserve the vibrant heritage of the State of Qatar, its people and leaders, as well as the Arab nations and the world for generations to come, thereby upholding the principles of connectivity, intellectual illumination, and innovation.
His Excellency highlighted that the website offers an integrated interactive platform, showcasing a digital library and news about the foundation, alongside a prolific archive that features releases and initiatives, as well as the events that the foundation holds at home and abroad.
In addition, the website offers the opportunity for visitors to surf the content in both Arabic and English, thereby demonstrating the foundation's global nature and strengthening the presence of Qatari and Arab culture in the global digital space.
Pretty soon, a selection of publications will be made available for free download in support of researchers and scholars, featuring interactive tools that enable direct engagement with the foundation, including participation in cultural forums and discussions it plans to convene in the future.
The platform showcases a photo gallery documenting the State of Qatar's progress across multiple sectors most notably education, culture, health, sports, and other domains that constitute core pillars in shaping individuals and advancing the community.
The Doha-based Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge was established in 2016. It is a non-profit organization that strives to preserve and promote Qatari, Arab, and global heritages.
