Doha: Al Gharafa announced Saturday the renewal of the contract with player Hamad Ismail for one more season, extending his stay until the summer of 2025. Ismail joined Al Gharafa at the end of last season from Al Arabi and participated with the team in HH the Amir Cup. Ismail has had an extensive career, having played for clubs such as Al Arabi, Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, and Qatar SC. He was also part of the Qatari national team, with his last appearance in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, where the national team won the title for the first time. During the current summer transfer window, Al Gharafa have signed Spanish striker Joselu from Real Madrid and Romanian player Florinel Coman from Steaua Bucharest. Source: Qatar News Agency
