Doha: Al Hilal officially announced Thursday the signing of French left-back Theo Hernandez on a three-year contract, joining from Italian club AC Milan until 2028.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Hilal's negotiations with Hernandez began prior to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The talks have now successfully concluded, with Hernandez joining a club that delivered impressive performances during the Club World Cup held in the United States.
In addition to Hernandez, Al Hilal, who were runners-up in last season's Saudi Pro League, has also bolstered their squad by signing Saudi defender Abdulkarim Darsi. Darsi comes to Al Hilal after the expiration of his contract with Al Ahli at the end of the season. Furthermore, Al Hilal strengthened their defensive line-up by acquiring the services of Ali Lajami, who joined the club after his contract with Al Nassr ended.
