Al Najma of Bahrain booked a spot in the final match of 25th Asian Handball Championship, which is currently being held in the Iranian city of Isfahan.
Al Najma outclassed Qatari Al-Rayyan to seal the final victory by 31 to 29 goals in the semi-final match which was played today.
The Bahraini team led Al Rayyan 19 to 16 at the end of the first half of the match.
Al-Najma will take on in the final match with the winner of the second match opposing Al-Duhail of Qatar with Kadhma of Kuwait.
The Bahraini team aspires to regaining the Asian championship it won in 2017, after beating Al-Duhail of Qatar.
Al Najma lost the final of the previous edition to the Kuwait team in the tournament that was held in India last year.
