Doha: Al Sadd secured their spot in the semifinals of the 2024 HH the Amir Cup after defeating Al Wakrah 1-0 at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah scored the only goal of the match for Al Sadd in the 20th minute.
