- Al-Sadd Club officially announced the signing of Algerian international Youcef Atal, starting from the 2024-2025 season for two seasons, arriving from French club Nice. The Club also officially announced the signing of Spanish player Cristo Gonzalez, starting from the 2024-2025 season on a four-year contract, arriving from Portuguese club Arouca. This signing is part of Al-Sadd's management's efforts to bolster the squad with top players in preparation for domestic and international competitions. Youcef Atal began his career with Paradou AC in the 2015-16 season, playing for two seasons and participating in 48 matches, during which he scored six goals. He then moved to Belgian club Kortrijk in the 2017-18 season for one season, where he played 10 matches without scoring any goals. After that, he joined Nice in the 2018-19 season, and from January 2024, he played with Turkish club Adana Demirspor for six months.
