Doha: Qatari club Al Sailiya have extended the loan of Argentine defender Matias Nani for a further season until the summer of 2027. The 28-year-old, who joined on loan from Al Gharafa last season, has renewed his stay after impressing the club's coaching staff. He has already rejoined training ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Sailiya's squad departed for a pre-season training camp in Austria on Saturday. This camp, which will run until August 7, includes a series of friendly matches. The club is preparing rigorously as they gear up for the upcoming Qatar Stars League season, with their first fixture against Al Duhail scheduled for August 22.
