‘Al Shahaniya Hajan’ Win Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Sword in Third Edition

Al janadriyah: Al Shahaniya Hajan claimed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Sword in its third edition today at Al Janadriyah Racecourse in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking another major achievement in the stable's distinguished record on the camel racing circuit.

According to Qatar News Agency, the golden sword was secured by Al Haba, owned by Al Shahaniya Hajan, after winning the fourth round of the Open Ha'il category over a distance of eight kilometres in a time of 12:17.19 minutes, adding a second golden sword to her career tally.

Ma'aza, owned by Presidential Camels, finished second with a time of 12:17.81 minutes, while Ghara, owned by Al Asifa Camels, placed third in 12:18.48 minutes.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Sword holds significant symbolic and historical value, ranking among the most prestigious honours in elite Arabian camel racing. Winning the title represents the culmination of sustained effort, strategic planning, and high-level preparation, and reflects the intense competition among leading camel stables from across the Gulf region.

With this victory, Al Shahaniya Hajan continue to strengthen their collection of major titles, reaffirming their status as a formidable force capable of securing top honours at the region's most prominent racing venues.

The third edition of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Racing Festival 2026, which concluded today, featured 225 races over 10 days, with the participation of 7,435 camels and 2,059 owners representing 11 countries.
