Al wakrah: Al Wakrah defeated Al Sadd 3-1 in their match Wednesday as part of the first round of the Qatar Volleyball League for Men. All matches are being held at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall with the participation of 10 clubs.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Wakrah's victory came with set scores of (25-22), (23-25), (25-12), and (25-22), bringing their total to 16 points and placing them at the top of the standings. Al Sadd remains in ninth place with no points.

In another match, Al Ahli defeated Qatar SC 3-2 with set scores of (25-21, 25-27, 20-25, 25-17, 25-12). With this result, Al Ahli moved up to third place with 12 points, while Qatar SC remained in fifth place with 9 points.

Two matches are scheduled for Friday: Al Khor will face Al Shorta, and Al Gharafa will play Al Arabi.
