According to Qatar News Agency, Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Ahli. Moreno stated, "We prepared well for the match. We knew we were going to play against a very good team, with good players and a good coach. I believe last season was a good one for Al Ahli."

Moreno acknowledged the challenges faced due to limited preparation time and the absence of several players due to international commitments. However, he expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a win, emphasizing the importance of playing strategically and cohesively.

On the other side, Al Ahli coach Igor Biscan highlighted the significance of securing a favorable outcome in the upcoming match.
