Al Wakrah: Al Wakrah secured a spot in the final of HH the Amir's Volleyball Cup after defeating Al Shorta with three sets to one in the second leg of the semi-final round held Wednesday at Aspire Hall.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Wakrah defeated Al Shorta following a competitive match that ended with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 20-25, and 27-25. The team showcased strong performance from the start, winning the second match consecutively after their first-leg triumph with scores of 25-20, 32-30, 21-25, and 25-16.
With the semi-final adopting a best-of-three format, Al Wakrah advanced without requiring a third match. Al Wakrah will face the winner of the ongoing match between Al Rayyan and Qatar SC in the final, set to take place on Apr. 30 at Aspire Hall.
