Doha: Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf discussed Tuesday in a phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio the developments in the Middle East and bilateral relations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides expressed their commitment to continue coordination within the UN Security Council to foster the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and ensure its sustainability. They also emphasized the importance of achieving security and stability in Syria and Lebanon, while preserving their sovereignty and national unity.
