The worlds top-seeded men's squash player Ali Farag confirmed that the QTerminals Qatar Classic for Squash is a highly distinguished tournament among the other global squash competitions. In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency after advancing to the quarterfinals, the world number one said that the Qatari tournament is a favorite for him and all players due to its good organization and the world-class players. Farag praised the great facilities provided by the Qatar Squash Federation, which create the perfect atmosphere for all participants to deliver their best performance in the sport. The Egyptian player expressed his hope that he can secure his second consecutive title and fourth overall. Regarding his second-round match today against his compatriot Youssef Soliman, Farag acknowledged that Soliman is a strong player who delivered an excellent performance, winning the first game. However, Farag managed to regain control and won 3-1. Similarly, Nour El Sherbini, the worlds top-seeded women's pl ayer, expressed her happiness in an exclusive statement to QNA after advancing to the quarterfinals. She said she was pleased to return to Qatar and compete alongside the worlds top players. Nour added that the competition was one of the major tournaments in the squash world, distinguished by several factors that make it highly successful. The Egyptian player mentioned that she has not yet won the Qatar title, but she is determined this year to continue advancing in the tournament and claim her first title in Qatar. El Sherbini also thanked the tournaments organizing committee and the Qatar Squash Federation for hosting such an important and prestigious event on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) calendar.
