Doha: The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), a member of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has successfully concluded a series of awareness workshops at Quran memorization centers for women and girls, conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, Fadl Al Kaabi, highlighted that these workshops aimed to enhance women's sense of security and emphasize their role in family and societal stability. The sessions were designed to equip participants with skills to manage challenges and familiarize them with the center's protective services. Al Kaabi noted that the workshops focused on social protection issues, reaching over 900 beneficiaries, and sought to build strong, cohesive families in line with Aman Center's vision to reduce violence and strengthen family cohesion.
Bakhita Al Ghayathin, Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, explained that the "Aman" workshops covered topics such as social protection, family safety, protection from cyber extortion, and awareness about bullying and its effects. Meanwhile, Hanan Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Aman Center, stressed the importance of expanding cooperation with national partners to support women, children, and victims of family breakdown and violence. She emphasized that community partnership with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs is vital in raising community awareness and fostering a safe, stable environment.
