Doha: Coach of Al Duhail Christophe Galtier expressed his determination to secure victory against Al Sailiya in their upcoming round of 16 match on Monday at Khalifa International Stadium, as part of the 53rd edition of the Amir Cup. Speaking at Saturday's pre-match press conference, Galtier acknowledged that the match against Al Sailiya would not be easy, requiring significant effort and focus from his players to ensure a win and secure a spot in the quarter-finals.

According to Qatar News Agency, Galtier emphasized that after Al Duhail's qualification for the Qatar Cup final, the team's focus had shifted entirely to the Amir Cup, with a clear goal of advancing through the tournament. Galtier recognized Al Sailiya's strong season in the second division, noting their successful promotion to the first division, making them a challenging opponent. On the other hand, Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain expressed confidence in his team's ability to deliver a strong performance and achieve the desired result, despite Al Duhail being the favored side.
