Umm Salal: Umm Salal advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 Amir Cup after defeating Al Wakrah 4-1 in their Round of 16 match held today at Khalifa International Stadium, as part of the 53rd edition of the tournament.
According to Qatar News Agency, Umm Salal's goals were scored by Abdulrahman Al Rashidi in the 7th minute, Croatian Antonio Mance in the 19th and 87th minutes, and Dutchman Kenji Gorre in the 41st minute. Al Wakrah's lone goal came from Khaled Mohamed in the 30th minute.
Umm Salal will next face the winner of the Al Shamal vs Al Arabi match, scheduled to take place later today.
