Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa at the Amiri Diwan. The meeting took place alongside the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir has been actively exchanging cables of congratulations with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to mark the start of Ramadan. In addition, he extended his congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations on this significant occasion.
Furthermore, HH the Amir sent a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu on the anniversary of Kosovo's Independence Day. In a related announcement, the Amiri Diwan stated that HH the Amir will receive well-wishers at Lusail Palace on the first evening of Ramadan after the Tarawih prayer.
HH the Amir also received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, reinforcing diplomatic ties between the two nations. Meanwhile, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani exchanged cables of congratulations with Crown Princes and Deputy Presidents of Arab and Islamic countries for Ramadan and welcomed HRH Crown Prince of Bahrain upon his arrival in Doha.
In addition to these engagements, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani exchanged Ramadan greetings with his counterparts from Arab and Islamic nations, and extended congratulations to HE Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti on Kosovo's Independence Day.
Under the Prime Minister's patronage, the Ministry of Labour launched the 2026 Qatar Nationalisation Award for the Private Sector. Other diplomatic activities included meetings between Qatari and Saudi representatives, and Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations met with the President of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, highlighting ongoing international collaboration.
