Ma'an - The Council of Endowments, Affairs and Islamic Holy Sites held an urgent meeting today, Thursday, to examine the bitter reality that the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is suffering from, including the growth and encroachment of extremist groups in their incursions into the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecration of it under the pretext of religious holidays, and the occupation authorities' persistence in planning this behavior based on imposing The facts are based on the logic of force, and within the dimensions of a replacement narrative that ignores the facts of our Islamic and Arab history in the city of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which spares no effort in canceling and obliterating them. The Council of Endowments, Affairs and Islamic Holy Sites in Jerusalem confirmed its growing fears of the state of official Arab and Islamic negligence and helplessness regarding the issue of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which extremist groups translated by organizing central and massive i ncursions into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in conjunction with preventing masses of Muslim worshipers from entering their mosque in light of the spectacle. Bloody, it cannot be separated from the general picture and the reality of the situation throughout the occupied territories. The Endowments Council appreciated the unity of the Palestinian people around the issue of their sanctities, to which they gave dearly and preciously, and never hesitated to affirm their presence in preserving, uplifting and reconstructing them, generation after generation. The Endowments Council called on all the Palestinian people, wherever they are located, to intensify their presence and support in their blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Endowments Council appealed to the Hashemite custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif to mobilize the international community and call on the governments of the Islamic and Arab world to activate their available capabilities and do their duty in order to prevent this absurdity and reject these unfair policies against one of the most important Muslim mosques linked to the Muslim faith, which must not be tolerated. And ignoring it so that the tragedy that occurred in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, which was left alone without help or support, would not be repeated. Source: Maan News Agency
