Doha: Under the patronage of Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, the Qatar-France Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, a Group 2 race, will be held next Monday at Le Lion-d'Angers Racecourse in France over a distance of 1600 meters. The race features an exclusive participation of horses aged 3 years only.

According to Qatar News Agency, this race serves as an early and significant test for these horses at the start of the racing season, offering participants an opportunity to showcase their abilities over a moderate distance before facing longer challenges later in the season.

The official entry list includes 11 horses, among which are horses carrying prominent Qatari colors representing Al Shaqab Racing, Al Wasmiya Racing, and Khalifa Bin Sheail Al Kuwari, reflecting Qatar's continued strong presence in international Purebred Arabian horse racing.
