Washington, Apple intends to develop the "Photos" editor in its operating systems through adding some artificial intelligence (AI) features that allow users to make advanced modifications to photos. According to what Apple Insider reported, citing sources in the company, the "Clean Up" feature will be one of the most prominent of these new features, and it is scheduled to replace the current "Retouch Tool" in the Photos editor. The new cleaning tool will provide enhanced editing capabilities and advanced options to remove objects inside images and fill the void they leave without negatively affecting the images. Users will be able to select elements in images via a brush tool whose size can be adjusted, to allow objects to be easily removed according to their size. This feature will be similar to features announced by other companies, such as Google, which offers the same tool in its Photos editor called "Magic Eraser", and the Generative Fill feature offered by Adobe in Photoshop, Express, and Firefly ap plications in order to remove objects with high efficiency based on AI. Apple is expected to announce some of the advantages of AI in conjunction with the announcement of new iPad devices. It is expected that Apple will first reveal the features associated with iPad devices, while it may postpone the announcement of all the new features that it has developed until the developers conference at the beginning of next June, in which the company will reveal all new versions of its operating systems.
