Arab Educational Training Center Engages in UNESCO Forum in South Korea.

Suwon: The Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States is actively participating in the UNESCO International Forum themed "Renewing the Social Contract for Education." This significant event, taking place over three days in Suwon, South Korea, underscores the crucial role of international cooperation in the financial support of education to promote equality and innovation across educational systems. According to Qatar News Agency, during the Forum, Dr. Fatma Al Maadheed, Director of the Center, engaged in discussions with key figures such as Stefania Giannini, UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Education, and Professor Kyung-Koo Han, Secretary General of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. Also present were Professor Daehyun Kim from Seoul National University and several other prominent academics. Their discussions centered on future visions for educational development and the enhancement of cooperation between international bodies. In addition to her participation in the forum discussions, Dr. Al Maadheed visited a Korean middle school on Tuesday. This visit aimed to provide her with a firsthand understanding of the Korean schools' experiences and their successful educational practices. The Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States, headquartered in Doha, operates under the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States. It plays a pivotal role in training educational leaders from the ministries of education within its member countries, adhering to rigorous scientific and methodological standards.
