The Arab League has announced the holding of an extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates under the presidency of Yemen, tomorrow (Thursday), at the request of the State of Palestine, to discuss the policy of confronting the crimes of genocide, Israeli aggression, and settlement expansion in Palestine. The holding of this session comes at the request of the State of Palestine in light of the continuation of the crime of genocide committed by Israel (the occupying power) against the Palestinian people over a period of about 9 continuous months, and in light of the occupation government recently approving a series of measures to prevent the embodiment of the independence of the Palestinian state on the ground, and to continue in plans to annex the occupied West Bank, in addition to colonial expansion and piracy of Palestinian clearing funds. Last Sunday, Ambassador Mohannad Al Aklouk, the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, announced a request to ho ld an extraordinary session of the Arab League Council in this regard.
