Arab Media Forum to Convene 21st Session in Beirut with Arab Ministers and Media Figures

Beirut: The Arab Media Forum announced Tuesday that it will hold its 21st session on Oct. 29 and 30 in Beirut, with the participation of Arab information ministers and media figures. The forum will be held in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Information and the Media and Communication Sector of the League of Arab States. According to Qatar News Agency, Secretary-General of the Forum Madi Al Khamis stated during a press conference that the event will be held under the slogan: "Media and Development: Partners of the Present and Alliance of the Future." The forum will address various issues and strategic partnerships with organizations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Arab Fund for Development, the Arab Planning Institute, and other local and international entities concerned with development, media, and culture. Lebanese Minister of Information Dr. Paul Marcos expressed his appreciation for the participation of a select group of Arab informatio n ministers, along with representatives from media institutions, experts, academics, influencers, content creators, and youth and students from media colleges in the 21st edition of the forum. The forum aims to honor media figures and institutions that have made significant contributions to the Arab media landscape. Additionally, it will feature an exhibition showcasing rare photos and videos from the archives.
